Akkoord mijn dag is al redelijk kut. Maar ik word echt pissed als ik lees dat die fucker van een Bush wil besparen na de orkanen (artikel De Standaard). Op alle departementen. Bush-bashing is niet mijn stijl, maar ziet die imbiciele motherfucker niet in dat hij gewoon een oorlog kan stoppen? Damnit, hier word ik slecht gezind van. Ik begrijp ook wel dat het niet hele verhaal niet zwart-wit is. Maar dit lijkt me vrij simpel. Als je een begrotingstekort heb dat een absoluut record is. Als dat gebeurt in een oorlogsjaar. Als je die oorlog zelf begonnen bent, of tenminste mee in stand houdt. Als je dan 168 miljard euro wil besparen omdat er in je eigen land mensen creperen. Dan vind ik het op zijn minst, ik herhaal op zijn minst, het overwegen waard om die oorlog te verminderen of zelfs af te schaffen. Ik begin enorm hard aan mezelf te twijfelen als ik merk dat sommigen menen dat die logica niet te volgen is. En vooral als die sommigen ook nog topposities bekleden. Ik zou kunnen vloeken, maar ik zal het niet doen. Ik ga gewoon slapen.
